Judy Van Beek enters her third season as Seattle Pacific's head coach in 2007-08. Van Beek took over from Gordy Presnell who became head coach at Bosie State. Under Presnell, the Falcons never had a losing season and made 13 NCAA tournament appearances in 18 seasons. Van Beek comes from Trevecca Nazarene where over nine years she posted a 162-119 record. Prior to that, Van Beek was an assistant for Oklahoma’s Southern Nazarene. Van Beek's inaugural season (2005-06) was impressive, going 24-6 and advancing to the Sweet 16 before being upended by Chico State. In 2006-07, she led the Falcons to a 20-9 record and second round NCAA appearance before losing to Cal State Chico.
