Head coach Jeff Hironaka completed his 6th season at Seattle Pacific in 2007-08. Hironaka served as Seattle Pacific's top assistant for 11 years. Hironaka took over from Ken Bone who was instrumental in Seattle Pacific becoming one of the premier D2 programs in the West. Over the last eight years, the Falcons have a .706 winning percentage, averaging 20 wins per game. Hironaka, who served as the program's defensive and recruiting coordinator, is believed to be only the second Japanese-American head coach in a four-year program. Prior to coming to Seattle Pacific, Hironaka was an accomplished player, lettering three seasons at Eastern Oregon. The Falcons went 21-8 in 2007-08 but were eliminated in the second round of the NCAA tourney by Alaska Anchorage.
