ONU plays in the Ohio Athletic Conference (www.oac.org) the third oldest existing collegiate conference in the nation. The league consists of ten private colleges, all located in Ohio. Conference play usually starts in early December but non-league opponents (occasionally a few D1 or D2 opponents) are mixed into the schedule up until January. ONU will play each team twice, home and away. League games are often played on Wednesday and Saturdays. The season concludes with the OAC tourney which takes the top eight teams with the winner receiving an automatic NCAA berth.
