Head coach Scott Rueck completed his 12th season at George Fox in 2007-08. In 12 years, Rueck has established himself as one of the most successful coaches at the D3 level. During that time, he has brought the women's team five NCAA appearances, four top 25 national final rankings, and five 20+ winning seasons in the last eight years. When Rueck signed on as an assistant (93-95), the Bruins had had only three winning seasons in the previous twelve. Under Rueck, the Bruins have had twelve winning seasons. Rueck is assisted by his wife, Kerry, one of the few programs in the country that is coached by husband and wife. In 2007-08, the Bruins finished with a 25-5 overall record and advanced to the Sweet 16 before being upended by Hope.
