Cumberland plays in the MidSouth Conference (www.mid-southconference.org) which is comprised of seven teams from Kentucky, Tennessee and West Virginia. Prior to the conference's realignment, the MidSouth was one of the most competitive NAIA conferences. League games often played on Tuesday and/or Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons. It is common for the men's games to be piggybacked with the women's. The season concludes with the Mid-South conference which includes all teams with the winner advancing to the NAIA national tourney.
