Head coach Suzy Barcomb completed her 10th season at Puget Sound in 2007-08. Barcomb arrived in 1998-99 and produced a 21-6 record her inaugural season, a trip to the NAIA national tournament, and received conference coach-of-the-year honors. Over the last six years, Barcomb's teams have averaged better than 20 wins per season and made four NCAA tourney appearances. Barcomb attended Central Missouri State on a volleyball scholarship and later transferred to the U. of Washington where she walked-on and played one season in basketball. In 2007-08, Barcomb led the Loggers to a 23-5 mark and took them to the second round of the NCAA tourney before losing to George Fox.

UPS plays in the Northwest Conference (www.nwcsports.com) which is comprised of nine schools from Washington and Oregon. Conference play, which consists of 16 games, usually starts in January with games played on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons. The Loggers play each team twice, home and away.
