Misc. Information

Head coach Lisa Stockton enters her 14th season at Tulane in 2007-08. Stockton inherited a team that in the 19 years prior to her arrival had only eight winning seasons. In her first year, Stockton led her team to a 19-10 record and the program's first NCAA appearance. In her 13 years at Tulane, Stockton has averaged 20 wins per season and taken her team to the NCAA tournament every year but four. Before coming to Tulane in 1994-95, Stockton coached at Greensboro College (D3) and produced a 63-27 record in three years and then moved on to Georgia Tech where she served as an assistant until 1995. A former standout player at Wake Forest, Stockton still ranks among the school's top five in scoring, assists, and steals. For the previous three seasons, Stockton has not done well, however, things turned around in 2006-07 as the Greenwave went 26-7 and made a second round appearance in the WNIT before falling to Mississippi State.
