Head coach Amy Brown enters her second season at Tennessee Tech in 2007-08. Brown took over from Bill Worrell. During Worrell's 20 year tenure, Tech averaged 20 wins per season, made eight NCAA appearances, won 12 conference titles, and captured nine tourney crowns, while going 407-189 (.682). Much of that success goes to Brown, however, as she was Worrell's chief assistant/recruiter for 10 years. A proven winner on the court during her playing days - first, at Livingston Academy and then with a powerful Louisiana Tech squad -- Brown is only the third coach in Tech's history. The Eaglettes finished with a 23-9 record in 2005-06 but lost in the first round of the WNIT to Western Kentucky. Things did not go well in Brown's inaugural season (2006-07) as she turned in a lackluster 12-18 mark.
