Head coach Lori Carter completed her 5th season at Southern Nazarene University in 2007-08. Carter became the program's ninth head coach in 2003-04. Carter inherited a premier program that had just come off winning the national championship in 2003. Unbelievably, in her inaugural season, Carter captured the National Championship again - the program's seventh! Over the last 12 years, the Crimson Storm has had seven 30+ winning seasons. Carter (then Lori Cloar) is a familiar name to Southern Nazarene University after playing for SNU from 1989-1992. She still holds the SNU record for most assists in a game with 17. Lori also earned Honorable Mention All-American honors in 1992. Prior to coming to SNU, Carter took the St. Gregory basketball program from the bottom of the Sooner Athletic Conference standings and built it into a solid program in the nation’s toughest conference. The Crimson Storm went 25-7 in 2007-08, losing to Trevecca Nazarene in the first round of the NAIA tourney.
