Head coach Carroll LaHaye completed her 25th season at Randolph Macon in 2007-08. A former alum and player at the University of Maine-Machias, LaHaye worked as a program coordinator for the YMCA before being handed the reins in 1982-83. LaHayes success has come late in her career. During her first 10 years she produced just one winning season. Much of this is due to the program having competed at the D2 level. Once it made the switch to D3, things took off. Over the last 13 years, LaHaye has produced 11 winning seasons while averaging 21 wins per year. 2004-05 was her best season with the Yellow Jackets when they finished 30-2. The Yellow Jackets went 22-5 in 2007-08 but did not make an NCAA appearance.
