Misc. Information

Head coach Dave Davis completed his 12th season at Peiffer in 2007-08. Under Davis, the Falcons have averaged over 20 wins per season and made four NCAA appearances. Prior to his appointment to head coach in 1996-97, Davis served as an assistant for five seasons under Bobby Lutz (UNC-Charlotte), where they took a ninth place team to seven straight conference championships and seven straight NCAA appearances. Davis' teams are typically noted for their high octane offense (scored 66 points in the 2nd half of an exhibition vs North Carolina in the Dean Dome two years ago). Before Pfeiffer, Davis was head coach at Barton College and previous to that, at Warren Wilson College. As a player at Warren Wilson, Davis was a four-year starter and is the program's all-time assist leader. In 2007-08, the Falcons finished at 21-8 but did not qualifiy for an NCAA bid.
