Completing her 21st season in 2007-08 as NYU's head coach is Janice Quinn -- NYU's winningest coach. Quinn took over the program in 1987-88 and immediately set the then school record for most wins (21) in her first year. In the 10 years previous to Quinn coming on board, NYU posted a 94-102 record and made just two post season appearances. Quinn has never had a losing season in her 21 seasons and has made 14 NCAA appearances. In the last 14 years, Quinn has produced 12 20+ winning seasons. A former player at NYU and most valuable player, Quinn served in the capacity of assistant coach for two seasons before taking the reins. Quinn holds a bachelors degree in Economics and a Masters in Finance. In 2007-08, NYU finished at an uncharacteristic 14-11 record. It was the 12th 20+ winning season in 13 years. They also advanced to the Final 4 before falling to Washington-St.Louis.
