Head coach Caitlin Collier enters her 10th season at Menlo College in 2007-08. Collier initiated the women's basketball program upon her arrival in 1998-99. Over the last three seasons, Collier has averaged 23 wins per season and made two NAIA tourney appearances. Collier began her coaching career at her high school alma mater (Nevada Union in Reno) and was an assistant at Dominican University prior to coming to Menlo College. Collier, an outstanding prep player who had her high school jersey retired, attended/played at UC Davis. Her 2007 team garnered several accomplishments including most wins, second best defense among NAIA II schools, and went 16-0 in league play. She also picked up her second COTY honors. In 2006-07, Collier guided the Oaks to a 25-3 record but lost in the first round of the NAIA II tournament to Iowa Wesleyan. With only one graduating senior, look for a repeat performance in 2007-08.
