Founded in 1893, Lewis-Clark State is a public undergraduate college. The college offers instruction in the liberal arts and sciences, as well as in professional and applied technical programs. LCSC offers 24 BA degrees including Business Administration, Communications, Criminal Justice, Drafting, Nursing, and Physical Education Teaching and Coaching. It also offers associate degrees in a number of areas such as Autobody Repair, Diesel Mechanics, and Paralegal Assistant. U.S. News 2008 report on America's Best Colleges ranked Lewis-Clark in the third tier among universities in the west offering a Bachelor's degree. Lewis-Clark State College is located at Lewiston, Idaho (pop. 31k), where two rivers, Snake and Clearwater, two cities, Lewiston and Clarkston, and two states, Idaho and Oregon, come together. Head coach Brian Orr completed his 7th year at Lewis-Clark in 2007-08. During the 90s, the Warriors averaged 22 wins per season, producing nine 20+ winning seasons. In the year prior to Orr's arrival, the team posted its best season record, going 33-4 and advancing to the Final 4. In his first year, despite fielding eight new players, Orr went 23-11, advanced to the Sweet 16, and finished 8th in the nation in scoring. Prior to coming to Lewis-Clark in 2001-02, Orr was the top assistant at Montana State and prior to that, head coach at the University of Great Falls. Coming off a 31-3 record in 2006-07, the Warriors posted a 29-5 record in 2007-08, losing to Union (TN) in the NAIA Sweet 16. It was the 17th consecutive squad to post twenty or more wins.

Lewis-Clark is a member of the Frontier Conference which is comprised of eight teams from Montana, Idaho, and Utah. Though small, the Frontier is one of the strongest NAIA I conferences. Lewis-Clark will play each team twice, home and away. Games are often played on Thursdays and Saturdays. T
