Indiana Wesleyan plays in the Mid Central Conference (www.mid-centralconf.org), one of the oldest and toughest NAIA II conferences. All but one of the nine schools that make up the conference are located in Indiana. Conference play can begin in December with non-conference opponents mixed in until January. The farthest conference game is at Spring Arbor (MI) some 150 miles from campus. IWU plays a 16 game schedule, playing each team twice, home and away. Games are often played on Wednesday evening and Saturday afternoon. The season concludes with the Mid Central tourney which includes eight teams with the winner receiving an automatic NAIA tournament berth.
