Head coach Keith Mondillo completed his 13th season at Gwynedd-Mercy in 2007-08. Inheriting a program that was a perrenial cellar dweller, Mondillo has turned the program into a championship caliber team. After a losing season his first year, Mondillo came back his second year to earn a conference tourney berth -- the program's first in its history. Mondillo has averaged 20 wins per season, captured ten first place conference finishes, and made seven trips to the NCAA -- including the school's first in 1998-99. Mondillo played high school basketball at Archbishop Kennedy and played college ball at Beaver JC. Upon graduation, Mondillo served as an assistant men's coach at Gwynedd-Mercy. After only one year, he was asked to take over the women's program in 1995-96. In 2007-08, the Griffins finished with a 22-7 record but did not earn an NCAA bid.
