Findlay plays in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (www.gliac.org), the premier D2 conference in the midwest. The GLIAC is comprised of 13 public and private schools from Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. The conference is divided into two divisions, north and south. Findlay plays in the south. Findlay will play each team in the south division twice, and teams in the north once. Conference play can start in early December but the schedule includes non-conference opponents until January. Conference games are often played on Tuesdays or Thursdays and Saturdays and are often piggybacked with the women's. The season concludes with the GLIAC conference tourney which takes the top four teams in each division with crossover play starting in the semi-finals. The winner receives an automatic NCAA berth.
