Elizabethtown plays in the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth League which is considered one of the stronger D3 conferences in the nation. The MAC (www.lvc.edu/mac/) is comprised of eight teams -- all in Pennsylvania. League play usually commences in early December with non-league opponents mixed in until January. Conference plays resumes in January with most games played on Tuesday and Saturdays. Etown plays each team twice, home and away and games are usually piggybacked with the women's. The season concludes with a tourney within each division, with the top four teams in each qualifying. Each winner receives an automatic NCAA berth.
