Head coach Wes Moore enters his 11th season at Chattanooga in 2007-08. During his tenure, Moore has guided the Lady Mocs to eight first place conference finishes. Along the way, Moore has established himself among the best, ranking 8th in winning percentage among active D1 coaches. Moore, the third women's coach in the program's 24 year history, took over the reins in 1998-99. After a losing season his first year, Moore has since strung together eight 20+ winning seasons. Moore came to Chattanooga after previous stints at Francis Marion (D2) and Maryville (D3) where he collectively posted a 200-56 won-loss record. Moore was a point guard at Johnson Bible College, earning all conference honors. In 2006-07, Moore's Lady Mocs went 25-8 but lost in the first round of the NCAA tourney to Baylor.
