The Eagles play in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (www.odaconline.com), the second largest D3 conference in the nation, and generally regarded as one of the toughest. The ODAC is comprised of 14 members. Due to its large size, the pre-season is relatively short with conference play usually beginning in early December though non-league opponents are scheduled up until January. Bridgewater will play most teams twice, home and away. The season concludes with the ODAC tourney which includes the top eight teams. There are no byes and games are played at neutral sites. The winner receives an automatic NCAA berth.
